Still I plan on going to Scotland eventually- after I get a job and am not in danger of losing my apartment and car of course. 
When I went from San Diego to London, it was SD to San Francisco and then from SF nonstop to London. I don't know how much it cost because my ex paid for it, but when you plan trips like that early enough, it really cuts the cost.

I thought I was going to go insane flying from Chicago O'Hare to London! Except the way back I did get to watch V for Vendetta a bunch of times because it was one of the in-flight movies

When I made that flight, I watched a couple movies a few times, but Shrek was the big attraction. Oh and I got to watch an excellent documentary on wolves which was so great! I'm not sure about Shrek... I had free in flight alcohol... heh. I laughed a lot, but I don't know if it was really all that funny.
