We did, lol. We learned a great way to restrain a turtle so it doesn't crawl off somewhere is to take a small roll of tape and set it down on it's flat side so it can't roll, and then place the turtle on top so it's high centered <_<
My dog also found a turtle in my backyard last year about this time 
Someone moved and let their pet turtle free so my dog found him and I had to take his new turtle away

That implication is so right Totalimmortal. My dog had his very own turtle... but I don't think it's what the turtle had in mind <_< I named it "Buddy's Independance Day Turtle, Esquire" My dog=Buddy and he found the turtle on July 4th. And "esquire" just sounded cool at the time.
Anyways, someone ended up missing a turtle, but it wasn't that one. Their little boy was really sad because now he only had one turtle and it was lonely. So we gave him Buddy's turtle
