You're welcome to your opinion dude, just keep in mind he was the original, without him you wouldn't have your green arrows or martian manhunters. Have you ever read any of the old old OLD Superman's?

WolfMontana's right. Superman was the beginning of the age of the modern superheroes. Without him, No DC Comics, No Marvel Comics, No Image Comics, No Dark Horse Comics and so on..........
You meant The GOLDEN Age SUPERMAN, Wolf Montana? Yep, I have the DC Archive Editions SUPERMAN ARCHIVES : Volume 1 which starts at the very beginning of Superman's comic book adventures.

I just bought "The Death of Superman" from someone for a few bucks....too bad it was only a second edition.
Though I couldn't believe it when I saw it. I mean, the comic shook the world....well, at least the comic book world.

i like thar one. for a supes comic, it's not very much of a supes comic. you know there's jus as much time spent with other heroes (if not more), and supes DIES. i mean, i could have been the one what wrote those issues.

I remember that! There was long lines at the comic book stores and some people wore black band with a bloody S on it. (I still have mine) I couldn't believe that DC Comics would kill off the character that put them on the map in the first place.

that reminds me of this one time when i was watchin tv with my big bro matt and well, you know there's this guy named kobiyashi and he's the guy what has been winning the nathan's hot dog eating contests at coney island for the last few years, but and they had this show man versus beast and they had him in a hot dog eating contest versus a bear and it was wicked awesome you shoulda seen it.
sorry. i'm feeling kinda talkative tonight.
but you see, kobiyashi, he's been known to eat like 52 hot dogs in like 12 minutes or something like that, and so it was crazy.
at first, kobiyashi was just scarfing down the hot dogs and the bear was slowly eating them, but then after kobiyashi ate like 7 or so, the bear figured out that he could just scoop all the hot dogs closer to his mouth with his large, beary arms, and suck in like a vaccuum cleaner, and he would get all the hot dogs. it was WICKED! i mean, DUDE! that bear downed like a hundred hot dogs in like 5 seconds! it was jus bout the coolest thing i've ever seen a animal do, cause it was so crazy!
