Yep that was the day.

Nothing bad happened that day. I found money. I won a contest at the carnival. And I got a new dog. Those three things alone led to so many more good memories that I declared it the luckiest day of my life.

That giant mutt doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He's my furry brother to be honest and well * sighs * I'm kinda worried about him. He's going on 9 and last year he started having seizures. They've stopped but I still worry about him.

Every animal I've ever had the pleasure to call family I've buried by myself. Ever since I was a little kid I'd never let anyone touch them after they passed. It's the last gift I can give them. That and tears over their graves.
