That's really good. How long did it take you to finish the first?

It took me about three days, but I don't recall how many hours exactly.

Whoa. The first one's awesome! I couldn't see the second one though, as I apparently have to register an account on DeviantART in order to see it because of it's mature rating.
But I can guarantee you that the first one's sweet...and I'm going to guess the second one is too.

A few more:
Basic werewolf for Monster Day: http://viergacht.deviantart.com/art/Hap … -113159518
The same drawing repurposed for a fake DVD cover: http://d.furaffinity.net/art/frogsbreat … dc.big.jpg
St. Sithney Island werewolf, a design for a low budget horror script: http://d.furaffinity.net/art/frogsbreat … ey.big.jpg
St. Sithney is the patron saint of mad dogs. He was offered the position of patron saint of teenage girls, but turned it down in favor of dealing with something less dangerous. Hah-hah. The critter is hairless/furless on purpose - laying hair takes time, time means money.

This is an early design, it's changed a bit since then. It looks like an ape intentionally. Vargr are humans who are able to regress into a primitive, carnivorous ancestral form, so there's no lupine DNA involved . . . actually, if you've ever watched nature docus of big male chimps on the hunt, they're quite frightening.

I've been working on the design of "my" werewolves, and I've finally got it to where I'm happy with it. They're humans who devolve to a primitive, carnivorous ancestral form, basically killer apes, so there's no "wolf DNA" involved (also, the scientific backstory is a lot longer and more complicated than that, this is just the tv guide version). I wanted something different than the basic Rob Bottin style hairy dude with a wolf head pasted on. This was made by blending photos of a gorilla, wolf, lion, and a few other things.

I know you I faved you on DA. WUNDERFUL pieces you have here! Just vunderful

That is a really interesting peace. It reminds me (though as you say are blending a lot of different creatures) of the reconstruction pieces of the Hominids. Very Cool!

WOW, I can't view all the artwork, but the ones I can are awesome.
