Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

Not offending me. I grew up Roman Catholic, but my spiritual views go waaaaaay beyond that bounds of that particular church now. I'm pretty sure I've had an encounter with a dog's 'ghost' for lack of a better word, so I've no doubt they go on to bigger and better things. wink

Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

that stinks sad

I'm more of a cat person but I know how you feel.

sorry, but I don't see how that could offend someone...if a person ever says that to you, you would have more reason to be offended...

It doesn't offend me, and I'm not particularly religious.

Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

I'm just cautious after someone did yell at me on a different website because all I said was I believed in a god, never visited that page again...I am no specific religion but I do believe in a god, angels, spirit guides and that animals and humans both have souls. Thanks for the words of sympathy though,it is much apperciated smile . It helps me smile through the tears.

Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

I got in an internet fight once big_smile

it was about global warming, he started it by calling me a moron in response to my relatively neutral post...

yeah...it was too tempting to watch him as the rest of the forum members agreed that he was being a jerk...

sadly, they are out there hmm

Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

Thanks roadwolf,I think anyone that has had a pet knows that they are not just "pets" but loving family members.I have had some people say "So what it's just a dog?"I just shake my head and leave because I am pretty sure that they will never understand me.

Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

I haven't any of mine pass yet, but I know that it happens I'll be heartbroken. They're so much more than "just a cat" or "just a dog". My pets are everything to me, just as much as family members and my friends.

Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

well...heh... there can be exceptions to that

...there was this one cat we had that I didn't exactly miss when she died... she was at LEAST 22 or so (we're not sure how old she was, just that she was an adult cat when my mom got her in 1982 and she died in 2003)..

yeah she lost the concept of "litter box" in her old age, and for over a year caused my bedroom to constantly wreak of either cat poop/pee or coffee grounds (the only thing that would mask the smell)...

that and she was kinda nasty, she chased after people and bit them sometimes...

Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

That's so bizarre. We got a cat in 1982 and she died in 2001. I wasn't home when it happened, kinda glad. Loved that cat though, she used to curl up with me in bed, under the actual sheets. smile She was an awesome cat! big_smile

Whoops. *tries to get back on topic*

Bit of wolf... erm... my eyes are blue, which is like a wolf pup big_smile And I have a tiny ring of gold around the pupil, which is like 'almost wolfy'! lol ... I walked around on my toes for so long when I was growing up that my folks had to call in a specialist to get me to walk like everyone else. wink

Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

heh...if you look at my old school pictures my eyes used to be dark brown, then they kinda got lighter brown, now they're kinda blueish-gray on the outer edge, then go from greenish to golden-brown as you go inward towards the pupil...

My eyes are greyish-blue with yellow and white flecks around the pupil and then around the outside edges they're purplish.

Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

That is cool Confused! Mine sound a little more like Howl's, without the greenish. They're still kinda dark, but not so dark that they look black. The outside edge is greyish, and then there seems to be a touch of gold in with the brown. They remind me of dogs' eyes! lol Like my rottweilers' eyes. When I was little though, they were grey!
