I like mangos! They're tastey!

You know, I've never really eaten a mango. I wonder if that's a character flaw.
Btw, Strummer just bought me this baby. And I'm over the moon - he's an excellent werewolf figure It's from the Doctor Who series of action figures, after the werewolf from Tooth and Claw in Season 2. (think that was the name)
Check im out!
I took him to work, to keep me company. One of the ladies here came to use my office, reached for the phone and got a scare from the little beastie staring her down. I just think he's gorgeous.
*gets the WEIRD stamp*

I just finished watching my Werewolves, Vampires & Zombies dvd set, minus the Zombie stuff (which I plan on cutting off the dvd and sending by pidgeon to Confused). Man, that was some crap - but! I was about to buy Werewolf of Washington for 6.99 from a little music store one the way back from a conference I went to over the weekend and I saw this baby for 9.99 instead, and it had the movie on it! So, I got 10 times the crap for 3 bucks more! Woot!!
Seriously, Werewolf of Washington was a hoot, I'd forgotten how much I love that movie. Even the werewolf wasn't that bad - kinda cute. Little disturbing when he licks the little guy though. Okay, that sounded alot weirder than it was. (but not by much) Funny stuff.
There was also... my first Paul Naschy experience!! Werewolf Vs The Vampire Woman. Hahahahahha! Although, the werewolf was freaky when it was very very dark and all you could see was the glint in his eyes and the blood on his teeth. Not bad. Otherwise... oh dear. He at least had some serious teeth. Unlike Mr. Underbite Wolfman.
Then there was 'Moon of the Wolf' which was actually pretty decent, though the werewolf at the end was extremely silly looking. Decent storyline, decent acting. Quite engaging. Just ignore... the... guy with the black nose at the end of the movie, you be fine.
Then, and only then, was there 'Wolfman'. That sounds soooo familiar doesn't it! But no! I swear the guy acting in it just always wanted to be a werewolf, and therefore took the lead and produced this movie. Wow. Bad. There were about 3 decent actors in the entire cast, there was one incredibly amusing overactor, one incredible unamusing overactor, and the lead actor, Mr. Pekinese Werewolf who spoke with an extremely distracted and monotone drawl. Lots of fake lightning. And a train model!! But... real horses!
The only vampire stand out in my opinion was 'Grave of the Vampire'. That is, until the end, when a guy with badly fitting vamp teeth and a really goofy expression on his face, walks waaay too slowly towards the camera, guaranteeing unintended snorts and giggles. Despite the ending, the story was actually fairly interesting - including one very disturbing mother and half vampire baby scene (trying to get him to feed, you can imagine where that goes) - and the bad guy was actually a pretty nasty dude.
All in all, worth the $9 bucks for the laughs and few freaky bits.

Nosferatu is pretty cool - he's a pretty freaky critter There's a movie also, based around Nosferatu (played by William Dafoe) where they ponder what would it be like if Nosferatu was actually really a vampire and brought on set to be filmed.
