Re: Werewolves, please read

yea my skin gets darker too... its called 'a tan' no offense to any one but you'd be hard pressed to tell a werewolf from any other member of society by just looks. now some one who knows what to look for, might be able to tell by behavior, but still thats like Darwin saying you could tell people who were more likly to commit crimes based on how primative they looked.

Don't know how I missed this post.. I am not a werewolf in RL, but would be if I could, in a heartbeat.  To be able to leave this life for another seems oh so pleasing.  But for now, I come here, and enjoy the company of you all and dream  smile

Re: Werewolves, please read

It timed out on me.

Anyway...That "ways to tell if you or your neighbor are a werewolf" thing doesn't work for me sad Cause none of that is...er me smile

I keep looking for the moon...even in daytime...without even thinking about it sometimes!? Does this mean anything?

At times I just stare off into space....and wolf thought rush thru my mind...and something...I don't know how to explain it, happens, and it feels like I'm a wolf.

But nothing incredibly major sad I guess I'll never be a wolf :'(

Re: Werewolves, please read

Werewolf552, I expect that you're trying too hard. If you're a Werewolf, then you're a Werewolf. If you're not, then you're not. If your Therianthropy is waking up in you, then it will wake up whether you try to force it or not. If you try to force it, you can make yourself some problems.

You can be a Werewolf and try not to be one and cause yourself a whole lot of misery but trying to be a Werewolf won't make you any more or less one.

I'll tell you a couple of things I've noticed as a Werewolf and a Psychologist. I've never known of anyone to "become" a Werewolf. I have known of Werewolves to realize what they are. Therianthropy (being a Were person can (and usually does) assert itself later in life.

As far as I know, nonWres do not dream that thy are an animal. They might dream about a particular animal or, much less common, dream that they merge with an animal; but I've never read a case where a nonWere dreamed that they were an animal.

There is an on-line and a real life Were community. THere are some true Werewolves here but the site (correct me if I'm wrong) is a site for Werewolf fans. It's easy enough to find the On-line community. From there, you can get in touch with the real life community.

Warning - the Therian community has as much variety as the larger human community. If you run into a Werewolf that's a flake or a jerk, don't assume that we're all like that. Just look around until you find someone that you can deal with.

But I can almost certainly assure you that you cannot just become a Werewolf if you were not born a Werewolf.

Re: Werewolves, please read

I guess I was sort of trying to rush it. So er, leave it alone? Or did I take this wrong?

Also, until I find some evidence I consider myself not to be a were I guess sad I figure it would be kind of obvious if it was true, but nothing about it is true. So...I guess I have to be a fan of weres sad but o well, it's cool all the same!
