Re: do you howl at the moon?

Yes I have. When it comes up, I go on a jog through the nearby forest and listen to the wolves/coyotes howl. And if they howl, I'll howl with them. tongue

Got wolves and coyotes in your area? Your so lucky!

I can't really howl where I live...big concrete forest... mad Tho I howled on the mountain at my 18th birthday and it was the full moon! wink

I have coyotes in my area but not wolves.  Atleast not nearby.

Wow! Me, nothing... I wonder if we had wolves before my city was founded...a mean before Montreal was almost all woods, many native tribes lived here... big_smile

Re: do you howl at the moon?

I'm pretty sure wolves and coyotes roamed almost everywhere.....but then life as we knew it changed when man created the wheel...

Oh! and I'm looking forward to the next full moon!

Re: do you howl at the moon?

I pretty much howl whenever I wanna. big_smile But the full moon is extra inspiring, and my boyfriend and I will howl at it together.

I should change my answering machine message.... "I'm not here because I'm howling at the moon, but leave a message..."

I haven't been able to find a job with a nice, average outgoing message, maybe mentioning that I howl might actually help. heh.

Not really. I have though about it a few times, but I am far too inhibited.

Re: do you howl at the moon?

I howl. I like it. I do it anywhere I see fit. Once... (well, maby more than once) I go on top of my roof, on the top of a car, in a school (while it was in session)... but I was already there when I decided to do it. Hanging the christmas lights (christmas clump), washing the car, in P.E. People look at me funny... go figure.

Re: do you howl at the moon?

Its not me who howls at my Mother Moon, its the me that no'one sees, the wolf that is feared, but wants love. He wants to know his Mother Moon because no matter what, she will be there for him. She holds the promis of the freedom that is the running though dreams who become reality, the scent of trees and crushed leaves flowing not only through your nose but in his soul.

Re: do you howl at the moon?

@_@ say what? i was just talking from the soul. I am who i am because i love it and i love all my pack. They deserve to know who i am, when, and why. *Writer comes over and gives Rowan a deep hug* There are allote of reasons people come to this forum, some because they are confused, some because they are interested in things they don't know, some ...because they were hurt or seek to know who they are. What that reason is only is important if the person it belongs to chooses. The thing is that all of us are here and that we are alive and can look to the sky and see Mother Moon shining and saying .."come, be with me, my light shall become your bliss and cover you as you race through nature and become it."

Re: do you howl at the moon?

*Writer leans back and howls a howl that echoes off the fringes of reality but traces them with the emotions for humanity and beauty, then looks at the world around him and says*"What a beautiful place, so many things to fix, so many choices to make, so much love to share and make known. This world is great, maybe even better then the one we will go to after all this. *Writer losses himself in every thing about life*
