Hmm... I suggest you shouldn't think about it too seriously... Coz it might as well lose your chance of being a therian... But don't feel offended... Sometimes lycanthropy just comes by even if you don't know it...
Well, there is no "chance of being a therian" to lose. Either you are one by default, or you aren't and never have been/never will be.

Ya know today I was questioning my Therian side, because I've been so caught up in everything lately that I feel like i've lost touch with my wolf side. All the issues going on in my life seem to be making me have to embrace my human side more, and I thought,"Well what if i'm NOT a therian?"Then I asked myself if I had the choice of living my life as a wolf or human which would I choose, wolf came to mind quicker then anything.
So,my question to all is,do you have periods in which you question your therian side?Do you ask yourself, well maybe i'm not really a therian?Doesn't matter the reason, i'm just curious if i'm the only one that has ever questioned themselves about being a therian.

Back when I had sides, I would hold conversations with myself.

Not trying to be.
I had nine alters and the two major ones used to talk over problems they were having. There at the last, I was having some real problems (manifesting as insomnia - I went with about two hours of sleep in the middle of a quarter for about 4 weeks) and I felt like it might have had something to do with my MPD (actually it did - I was integrating). My wolf alter thought that he should commit existential suicide and my Human alter wouldn't hear of it. Ironically, when all my alters integrated, the only one left was the wolf alter.
Not all Therianism appears as full blown Multiple Personality Disorder like mine was (plenty of them do, though) but they seem to be dissociative to some degree.

really? therianism can lead to multiple personality disorder? Why wasnt i informed earlier?

That's not true MPD, MPD is when you are multiple people, and have blackout stages when your other sides take over and start doing stuff, usually without knowing you exist, and not remembering anything you do. What you're talking about is having solid archetypes, like a bunch of Daimons in your head, all giving you advice from different aspects of your mind.

i have/had the latter

Does therianism/Lycanthorpsy promote blood lust or is it just me
Offline
Aye, mine was traditional MPD. I had a couple of alters that I didn't know about for a while.
And, no Therianism doesn't necessarily promote blood lust in people. I don't know if it promotes blood lust in some people or not. But then, maybe I'm not understanding you. Blood isn't a neutral substance. Most humans are affected in some way by blood.

k thanks i think it might tie in with something else though

Like with me, I had cravings for blood for a while. (apparently Dragons are slightly vampyric) but it went away, and when I inquired, the people who I could find that did feel a craving for blood were almost always vampires, and not necessarily therians/otherkin. So, it can be connected, but isn't a sign.
