Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

yeep...new picture. Kinda a result of me being pissed off because midterm exams are this week, and a certain teacher not only LIED to us about doing a review day, but gave us a 5 page assignment due the day after midterms are over.  mad

yeah, but she wouldn't tell us what would be on it... and the exam isn't until wednesday so I have time to be pissed before studying (assuming I can properly narrow down what I need to study)

Very interesting in a good way, Howlitzer.

While I don't approve of hunting humans for sport or revenge..I have to admit that I could use you to scare the living daylights out of the miserable math teacher that I had one time.....

I love the new pic.  Your teacher sounds like a jerk.  What subject is that in?

That stinks.  I loved my AP English teacher.  So was the coolest teacher I had my senior year.

I guess your talent is a natural gift then! I wouldn't doubt it.

I didn't really start drawing again at all until almost 2 years ago (actually just a few months before I joined this site), I was kinda surprised I was still any good because I'd hardly drawn ANYTHING in the 4 or 5 years I'd gone without doing it..... and since then I like to fly under the radar, keeping it to myself and uninvolved with the people and things I have to deal with on a daily basis, so drawing is more of a hobby or an escape for me now than something I'd put as my primary focus.

but thanks, I'm very glad I can be an inspiration for someone else.

WOW! I love your picture. I love the paws and claws! How long did that take you? Do you use a picture for reference? Jeez, if only I could do a werewolf half as good as you!!

Wow...Thanks big_smile

No I didn't use a picture for reference....and the initial picture didn't take very long. I was pretty mad at the time I did this and this picture definitely was inspired by my thoughts at the time, so it came a bit quicker and easier than most of my other pictures... I'd have to say it was about an hour for the actual drawing, then the really long part was the fur/shading. The basic shading took me about 45 minutes, then the fur took me a few more hours off and on while I was sitting down in 10 minute intervals, periodically going to the kitchen, eating an oreo, and chugging some milk, then sitting down for another 10 minutes and furiously drawing every....single...hair O.o.

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

And here's something I whipped up yesterday. Badger_Girl was looking for a tattoo design, and I needed an excuse to draw something, so yeah...

I'm not going to pretend that this isn't pretty much my basic cliche pose and werewolf design...because it is. I just needed to draw something to wind down after exams.

I'm not even sure if it's what she had in mind, as I have no tattoo design experience... but I did it. So here goes...
