Anubis: Guardian of the Tomb has reached a major milestone today.
Our renowned letterer, Jennifer Eller, has finalized the title and word bubbles for part one of what is to be The Origin Saga of Anubis' story. Her works on Stephie Stone's grayscales and PJ's inks mark the final step before physical publication in production.
So, soon next month, you'll all be able to own....

About the picture:
Am I being nit-picky, or shouldn't an Egyptian sword be curved?
They had several different styles of weapons - if you look at European Medieval weapons or Arabic sabers you'll notice there can be MANY different kinds even within the same culture. For instance they DID have an abundance of straight daggers and short swords. I will go so far to say though (ancient) Egyptian axes were noteably curved.
The sword I think you're thinking of specifically is the Khopesh, the big curved and menacing weapon you see in galores in The Mummy movies. Used in the infaltry and for beheading, it was also a symbol of authority for good reason as you can guess...which is probably why they are so popular coupled with the unique combination of curved and jagged edges.
...I think that was enough of a history lesson.
Now save your pennies...so you can buy my comic!

Yeh, that's it. And thank you for putting up with my nit-picking.

I have a few ideas, but most likely any work I offer ya won't start until Anubis becomes a title series. Cadre and I would definetely love to see pin-up work, maybe you could render either Anubis or one of his two current archvillians, Sharavee and Set.

Cadre is making progress on Cornerstone #2 with Anubis' new story.
In meantime, Stephie Stone has begun prep work on the third issue. We're setting on how we want the page panels laid out and her commission on pencils will officially begin this weekend. I would have had her start sooner in month but we both had our own delays due to individual issues, in my case handling rent at my apartment and dental bills. Things look clear to begin work on the next issue now.
