New BBC 3 Show: Warning slight nudity.
BBC Three presents new one-off drama Being Human – a witty, exciting, sexy and extraordinary look at the friendship between three 20-something outsiders trying to find their way in an enticing, yet complicated world. A werewolf, a ghost and vampire share a flat together.

Once again Dig, you are a Godsend. I'd never have noticed this show if you hadn't discovered it. I looked and found a torrent of the first episode, so thanks!

Yes thanks Dig! Thanks to a friend of mine, I was able to get a link to a torrent file of the episode. I liked it very much. Hopefully they'll make this a regular series.

Being Human, the flat share comedy drama about a werewolf, a ghost and a vampire, has been given the go ahead for a full series with creator, Toby Whithouse, on board as writer.

Just saw the first part on YouTube, the werewolf transformation was quite impressive, though you only saw it in shadow (the way it outta be I guess!)
At the moment, you can see the whole thing on YouTube. Here's a link to Part 1 of ... 6 I think?

That is excellent news!!!!
I really liked the pilot and it had a lot of story potential with the characters. Now we get to see that potential pay off.
Reading online reports about it, the entire cast will be back for the series, which will run for six episodes.
Hopefully, we'll be able to see all of the episodes here in the States.

Woot! Good news about the entire cast!

There's finally been an update about the show.
Filming has begun on the six new episodes of the series, which should air on BBC3 next year (hopefully we'll see it in the States on BBC America)
There have been some cast changes for the series, compared to what we saw in the pilot. But one member will return to reprise the role, and that's the guy who played the werewolf, so that's a good thing.
Here are some links with news about the show:

Thanks for the update dude. Glad to know they're keeping the werewolf, but I'm irritated that they're basically ignoring the pilot AND that they've recast the chick who played the ghost. She was insanely good in the pilot and I'm very sorry to see her go.
Hopefully it's still a good show after all the changes. (don't mind the dropping of the vampires take over the world thread though

Hehe, it's like The Young ones for the new generation... lol

Hmm, cool. Thanks for the info.
"Particularly we wanted to be slightly less gothic and slightly more rooted. In the pilot I felt there were one or two scenes, like the Herrick storyline, which felt like they were from a slightly different show."
Have to agree. Hopefully the cast changes work out. They're keeping the werewolf dude, so I'm stoked at least about that! *bounce*

Got a cool surprise for those waiting for the series to begin.
BBC3 has launched a mini site to the show, where you can read blogs and eventually videos about the show and the cast. In fact, they've launched the first video, and it's a cool five minute origin story on how George became a werewolf.
I'm not gonna give too much away, but it's told in a Cloverfield sort of style with an American tourist involved in the mix
Now for those over in England, you can go to the minisite: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/beinghuman/ and see it for yourself.
For us here in the States, that's gonna be a problem, since we can't see the videos because it's (way) out of our area.
But, I was able to find a loophole, so we can see it:
Here's the deal: First, go to the BBC3 site, http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/ . There, you see something called the video wall on its main page. Look at the top video under the words "See It First" and that's the Being Human video. Click on the box and if it works, you'll be able to play it and see it in its entirety.
Now, I don't know how long they'll keep it there, but hopefully you guys will be able to check it out. This definitely serves as a good teaser for us fans to enjoy until the series debuts, or at least until we can see it in the States.

The BBC's posted the last of the prequel videos, this time with Annie's back story:

Hopefully, they will post more videos as things draw near to the show's premiere in January. Rumor has it that it's gonna debut on the 16th, but nothing confirmed yet.
