i would like to see Frank Darabout directing it.

Yeah, he would just have a better grasp of the balance needed between the horror and character development needed. Let's see - Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile, The Mist?

The Rocke-who?????? (Jk)
I believe he is also known as "Hidalgo" Joe Johnston?

Ok, so according to some sources, it seems that HUGO WEAVING has been cast as the main detective character (Det. Aberline I believe is the character's name - not in the 1941 original) who will be tracking down Benicio's Wolf Man - nicely done! For all of those unfamiliar, Hugo Weaving was Agent Smith in the Matrix trilogy, and Elrond in the Lord of the Rings triolgy. He also voiced Megatron in the Transformers movie................

I love Benicio...I hope the werewolves look fantastic. Sounds like some good people backing it.

Looks like Del Toro is hitting the Oprah show today (the 5th) according to local previews.
Check local listings and all that if you want to see if "Wolf Man" gets a mention.
It's the episode with Halle Berry talking pregnancy.

You want to see how Benicio Del Toro looks as the Wolfman?
EW.com's got the first two photos of him in full makeup, plus an interview with Rick Baker. Here's the link:
