In about 4 hours, I'll have my new picture up, it's using structured building, so we'll all see if it's good or not. still, things are wonky in it, I'll work those out in later pictures. The reason four hours is because my scanner broke, so i have to go to a friends to upload, then download to the internet. Hope you like this new peice

the feet are really bad, i'll have to work on that, like with the hands -sigh- so much stuff to work at, even the tail isn't that good, i should change the texture.

I think you are showing good progress. I really like the fur and I think the had looks good!

i wish i could do backgrounds, i just can't i have no idea what to put in them, any ideas or tips?

The texture of the fur is actually pretty good. With a little more practice, I'm sure you'll have no problems establishing the dimensions of the body and getting the fur spot on. It's good!

I rarely use backgrounds in my own drawings.

It really depends on the style you want to have as to whether you should use a background. If you're doing it mainly as a portrait, there's no need to have any background, it'll just take away from the main subject (but you can use subtle shades or colours). If you think it will benefit your work to put in background objects, then it's a good idea. Anyways, I can't wait to see more soon.

the background isn't for the picture, it's for me, so i can get a good sense for a lifelike picture, i'd hate to draw something and then it looks stupid because i can't do backgrounds

Love that fur on his face - the detail in the shirt - nice! And there's that cool tail again!

Ok, a little help, what on earth should i draw next?

Um... *taps finger on chin as she contemplates this deeply*
Oh! I know!
A werewolf!

heh, more specific, like running, sleeping, smiling, angry, attacking, etc, i'll figure out the rest, just need a basic idea, and throw in something else if you want, just to make it more interesting.
Offline
Make it snarling.
Offline
Ok, that WILL be a challenge, working on the layout right now.

I broke my promise, I WILL do the snarling werewolf, but my little brother pestered me to draw a 'fox' like the one i put up on this forum, the one i drew for him was so cute, i had to put it on here, have a heart and don't diss it, i only put in like 10 minutes into it.

ok, got it, Now this one is coloured, so this is my first attempt at colouring, laugh if you want, i'll only get better

I should seriously sign all of my work, it's starting to look better, so I better mark each one as my own creation. And best thing still, is that it's all original!
