Hey, hold up, am I the yoda cat, or the little kid!
I went back to the same park today, down the same trail hoping to see the owl again. It wasn't in the spot I saw it last, but I was enjoying just being down by the water and the lovely atmosphere of the park that'd just been rained on deeply. Then something took off from above me - and it was a crow, circling around and landing not far away, before doing a little agitated dance with it's wings. It flew off again and did another wider circle, and in watching it fly, I suddenly saw the same Barred Owl watching the crow circle The owl was sitting up higher in a tree on the other side of the path, on a small branch. She was sooo cool!
And very soggy.
She looked at me a little, then started trying to doze again.

Awe, that's awsome. I remember when I lived on a farm I used to see that kind of wildlife all of the time. Sadly, there are so many cats around here that the only thriving birds are crows and magpies. All the other birds are too wary of this area. But as I walk through the open meadows, I see snow goose every-once in awhile. I love to watch them preening their feathers or just circling small ponds.
I also found this small pond a kilometer from my house and I observed muskrats, geese, and other wildlife swimming in the pond. Not to mention, there were la thin ush green forest surrounding the pond. However, I found out 2 years ago that the pond was for sewage dumping, and I've never returned since.

That's cool Punx. (okie, the sewage parts a bit gross, but it mustn't have been too bad - at least the animals were enjoying it!)

Let's see him pet his head, rub his tummy and hop on one hind paw without using his wings all at the same time !

That reminds me of my 2 cats. My first cat was born almost a year ago, though she's under half the size she should be. She looks like she's in a permanant kitten state. Though, she is mentally retared, so that might explain it.
