I'm baaaaaaaack!

Man so much to catch up on with art, and stories, and I have some art of my own to post up, but not yet. It feels great to be back.

And one question to the mods, I have a story that is were-related, but not werewolves, more like weredragons, kinda which will link up to other things that aren't that were-related. Would it still be able to go in the stories section? It's actually all written up, the first story is anyway, but I wanted input.

Well, I didn't have that much fun, all I really got to do was to empty a HUGE house owned by Australia's BEST SELLING JEWLER into a house that she was renting that was 1/5 times the size of the house she was selling. It took 2 ten tonne trucks to get all the bulky gear out, and there was still too much stuff, and that was just the bulky stuff. The smaller stuff, which there was a hell of a lot of, took the best of 16 four and a half hour trips from the border of New South Wales and Victoria to the capital of Victoria in close to peak hour traffic in AND out of the capital, not to mention the 12 hour trip to get there. Nor to mention the first week actually packing up all of this stuff. So yeah, My holidays have been pretty boring, you? smile  tongue

Re: The Artistic approach of Werer made public

Ok, I'll do that, the only problem is that the title of the story is kinda shoddy, I need to, well, make it work for me, so it may be a while, sorry.

Re: The Artistic approach of Werer made public

big_smile here's my monthly art challenge submission.

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm126/WererStritchy/werewolfintherain.jpg

I slept all night on this, and I couldn't get the idea of 'wet dog' out of my head and 'baths' just followed suit, I just had to draw it.

Re: The Artistic approach of Werer made public

Heh, I just can't do anything with drawing that's too serious, it's not as much fun to aim for. I'm also testing out a combination of pen and pencil drawing to get more toning. It seems to work good, I'll just have to work on backgrounds.

Re: The Artistic approach of Werer made public

I just made one original, funny drawing for a challenge that happens every month, and comments won't stop rolling, was it that good?

... Well, that was an unexpected answer to say at the least. I knew it was funny, but I don't get how it is hilarious

Yep!
EDIT: I also wanted to add that you seem to have a very comic-book style. Have you ever considered it?

Re: The Artistic approach of Werer made public

Yup, the only problem is that my drawing isn't so consistent, that hasn't stopped me though, stritchy.comicgenesis.com is my comic book attempt. It's named Atakahio, the title page is somewhere earlier in this topic. I have about 12 pages online at the moment, I'm working on other things too. I can do big things, I'll show you some, next post, won't take long. I'll copy it from a mug or something and size it up.
