OOOooo, two more neat sketchs of The Wolf from Disney's Peter and the Wolf as well as Elliott the Dragon from Pete's Dragon too. Very nice.

Just one helpful hint, wolfsongx. The notebook lines are a bit distracting.  Try using Bright White Inkjet Paper, that's what I use.

Ok, I'll try that.  Thanks Blue, I'm glad you like them.  smile

Good news. I'll be anticipating them.
I have today off, but I dunno whether to draw or go outside and enjoy the brief summer. By September, it gets icily cold, so this is my last month to enjoy the warm weather.
Now I have a dilemma. hmm

You may want to consider getting yourself a sketchbook or two, as that way all your pictures will last longer and also all be all together in one place and in chronological order.  I have quite a few sketch books lying around that I use for different subjects that range in size and page count.  Also, you may want to get yourself some acid free paper for art pieces that you spend a lot of time on, so they last longer.

If you have a Borders book store by you, you may be able to find some sketchbooks for $5.99 and/or $7.99 right now in one of their bargain books sections.

Unfortunately we don't have a Borders near me.  I can take a look at Barnes and Noble and see it they have any that are on the cheap side.  smile

ME!?  An excellent artist.  Nay, I just like to draw.  But I will put up some sketches, I think I'll redraw a couple and color them.

Here is one more on topic:

I sketched these using model pictures I found, how do you think they look?

Re: wolfsongx tries his paws at art

Thanks Blue and Busboy, I had fund drawing them.  Well I broke down and bought a sketch book, acid free paper and no lines on it.  The next one shouldn't have the blue lines of college ruled paper on it.  smile

Re: wolfsongx tries his paws at art

Well, here is my first attempt with my new sketch book.  I'm not too happy with it.  I redid a sketch from the old one and it was fine but the ink smudges and so did the markers a bit.  I guess it will just take getting used to on a new type of paper.

What do you all think?
