This is a fantastic comic I must say from Dead Dog Comics. The cover of the first issue has a menacing werewolf face on the cover and blood dripping at it's bottom lips, so you KNOW THIS is going to be an R rated kinda deal. It's not TOO BAD though, maybe a bullet hole in the head and then blood, but nothing violent like a wolf tearing someone's arm off, which is great for me b/c i don't like that kinda stuff. So it's scary without being violent. I didn't see a date on this so I'm assuming from one of the movie ads that it's 3 years old b/c that says copyright 2005. So maybe the people are going around on tour promoting this. I just picked this up at a comic convention and YOU KNOW it was almost hidden. The table had the other stuff but i just happened to see the snout and teeth and knew it was a werewolf. Anyway there's a werewolf killer, werewolf, werewolf dad, girl being kidnapped. Very good story!!!! check it out

In the issue shows some stuff werewolf related. Another comic book is "Monster Mayhem" and the cover has a werewolf on a grave (wolfman like head, but a Underworld wolf body) like it's about to leap at this girl who's crying and running. So think the old school magazine eery covers of like marilyn munroe type girls running or maybe the Archie comics girls. I think that was the inspiration to the cover, but they UPDATED the girl into 2008 look. she's got short hair and big boobs, very California looking. I can't wait to check that out.

The dvd "Blood Legend" the cover looks great, but it says that's not the final movie cover. It's in post.
