Uh... what the heck's a death growl?

like a "im going to kill you" growl

death growl - the ones that bands do during concerts and live performances. just listen to macbeth and megadeath
Offline
... so, just a guttural utterance then. Just like a normal growl, only you have to be in a death metal band?

lol, I'm not sure what they're talking about either WM... Growling is an animalistic behavior, but other than that, it doesn't really have anything to do with therianthropy...
Offline
oh really? cuz i growl when im mad!

i emanate a low growl from time to time...

Well, so do I, but that doesn't make me a were. In my case, I tend to emulate the things I love. So, if I love wolves, and I love werewolves, it's pretty inevitable the odd growl or two will escape me.
Course, I love horses too, but haven't started whinnying yet.
Kinda fearing that day, really.

I reiterate; growling doesn't make you a werewolf. I growl, I also mew and purr, but this doesn't make me a werecat, I just like making the noises sometimes.

Exactly. Being a were, as I said somewhere else earlier, is NOT a physical thing, but is first and foremost, Psychological/Spiritual. It does not matter what physical symptoms you have if you don't have the mental ones.

Your Wolf State Is All In The Mind?

YES! I've spread confusion in a one-person area! It's from Short Circuit, an awesome 80's robot flick Most fun.
Anyhoo. I am now returning to the regularly scheduled topic.

I'm a Pepper! You're a Pepper! He's a Pepper! She's a Pepper! da da da da! (and that movie, was probably my favorite movies when I was little, but I don't remember the Pepper part...)
It's not that it's just in the mind, it's not, there's more, but that's where it's rooted. The physical does not matter, because you are looking for something that is rooted in the mind.

[please excuse informative post aimed at Sherlawk, that has nothing to do with this topic, though I shall scramble to return to topic afterwards, I promise ] It's when they're first trying to track Johnny 5 down, and he wanders past a gas station needing input. He scans an ad for Dr. Pepper and they see what he reads.
How do you tell you're a werewolf? There's no definitive yes or no test, sorry. If you call yourself a werewolf, if you identify with a werewolf, then really, nobody can tell you you're not a werewolf. And I mean therian here. Other people will put their own ideas of what a werewolf is on you, scientists will tell you you're nuts, but really, since no one else IS you, you are the only one who can say what you are.

I'm not a werewolf, I'm a fuzzy-wuzzy-were-raccoon!

Your not turning into a werewolf, you're just growing up. I'm going through the same thing (minus the werewolf friend) and it doesn't make me a werewolf.

okay.....some of these things may not be correct. this is jst what i have researched:
unusually long middle finger
short temper
growls and whimpers when mad and hurt
very sharp canines
strong connection with the canine world
sharp seses(expecially scent and hearing)
howls when lonely and depressed or sad
and so many other things
