'Cause "most" of the figures were already in toy, & they didn't want to make them again. {most, pfff, yeah try only 6.5 of them, with who they showed they'd've had at 15-20 other characters that they could've made, 3 for sure are/were fan favorites, & 2 of the "remakes" are/were fan favoites too, maybe even 3 of them.}

True, there was a comic book spin-off series called The Mighty MUTanimals done by Archie Comics with some of the characters that was already seen in the TMNT comic and the first TV series. But, alas, when the planned TV spin-off series was a no-sell, the characters were killed off in their comic-book adventures. I hated that and still do despite that one of the characters, Leatherhead the Alligator, was brought back in the new TV animated series. My favorite was Leatherhead and Dreadmon the Werewolf.

Now this one may be a little tricky. They were part of the popular TV series of the early 90's which was about 4 underground warriors. One was only a part of an action figure line based on this show and another only made one appearance in a live-action movie.

Yes, wolfsongx, those guys are so obscure, that I'm sure that not even you may knew them, so take a guess.

King Lionheart & Rahzar!!!!!!!!!! & you're wrong on one account, King Lionheart was an action figures, yes, but Rahzar appeared in the TMNT: Secret of the Oooze movie, & in an episode with Tokka the Snapping turtle, called "Dirk Savage".

Wow, how do you know so much about Disney stuff?

I love cartoons, too, but they're not Disney. Those're Ninja Turtle characters.

Ok, will work on it a.s.a.p, Lycan.

Well, this is a PG-13 site so yes, you gotta to wear something. Zage is an exception to that rule because of his thick fur coat that covers up his certain body parts... wink

You haven't ??? O.o The Pink Panther and The Ant and the Aardvark were all DePatie-Freleng characters from the studio created when Friz Freleng, the man behind Tweety & Sylvester, decided to make his own cartoons after Warner Bros. shut down their cartoon studio in the 60's.

During the late 60's-early 70's, they also did The Inspector, Roland & Ratfink, The Tijuana Toads, Blue Racer, Hoot Kloot, MisterJaws and The Dogfather

For TV... Baggy Pants, The Oddball Couple, CrazyLegs and TV specials based on Dr. Suess and The Pink Panther
