The art of revenge

Gosh that makes so much more sense with my usual screen-names. I tend to use Danas-revenge or RevengeAtDawn, especially in lew of the horrific Twilight massacre that this name is too oft falsely linked to. -_-' I dislike Stephanie Meyer's prose, and wasted 121 minutes of my precious life in the film. Not an all too happy girl...

Nevertheless... I have a lot of art revolving around wolves, therianthropy, fursonas and the like... and so thought I might share some with you. I am starting to use the cafe a little more than before, so, hopefully, this will bring me a little more into the place. =]

Critique is always useful, however, brutality never is. Thus, please consider responses accordingly! =/

A wolven mask. This was rather a personal piece. I had some wording to accompany it - I never liked it much, but others really commented upon the wording more than the picture, thus, it seems fitting to have it accompany...
"... the moon is shining, full and bright,
Her glow against my human skin,
I'll wear my wolven mask tonight -
And let free the wolf within... "

Tattoo design is not exactly my forte, but this was an embellishment for some project work or other. In the end I stuck it to my ceiling rather than the project, heh!

Winged wolves. These are representing two characters very dear to my heart. A very personal piece, one that I was rather pleased with, if truth be known.

Love... looks like this! These are the same characters as above. My last piece of 2008. 2009 has yet to yield anything worth much.

Well, I do hope you enjoy. =]

They're excellent! I'm so envious, tattoo design drawing? I'd love to do that, your pieces are fantastic.

Re: The art of revenge

yikes Those are excellent. I wish I could do pen and ink so well hmm Unfortunately, that was not one of my acquired skills. What size of pen do you use (in milimeters)?

Re: The art of revenge

Wow... what a response! Thank you ever so much!

Busboy - Thank you very much indeed

Zage - heh, I am glad you liked them. Yes, winged wolves are beautiful =]

Punx - Many thanks! I usually draw with a copic fineliner, 0.25 mm. Sometimes I use a 0.3 for more definition of shadowed areas, but usually stick to my faithful 0.25. It was an expensive little piece of equipment, and my first was, irritatingly, stolen. This one, however, has been my faithful sidekick for a long time - where would a writer/artist be without her pen, afterall? =]

Jay - thank you sincerely! I am just glad that everyone seemed to enjoy them. =]

Blue - why thank you! -blushes-

Ooo, I have both of those sizes. I paid 7 dollars per pen, which is the most I've spent! But, I think it will be worth it once I get practicing.
