The werewolves from Van Helsing were pretty dang awesome, I have to say. I know some people argue that CGI creatures don't have as much presence on the screen, I suppose that hold some truth, but DANG. Those ones were pretty darn cool.

Superbly Whitewolf_Spirit, I totally agree. Also, the werewolf-ish creature off of Paan's Labrynth, whatever that thing was, as it resembled a werewolf, was REALLY creative in its design!

Have any of you seen the supreme mastery of the CGI wolves in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans?
they are by far the best I have ever seen.
The wolves of Van Helsing are amazing, but these take the cake.

I haven't watched a ton of werewolf movies more or so books for me. Anyway, I would have to go with either something from goldenwolf's gallery (goldenwolfen.com) the anthro like wolf with the tail kind of thing or something closer to the wolf in itself

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum
I liked the Van Helsing Werewolves, for me I prefer CGI than animatronics, it looks more realistic for me anyway.
An American werewolf in Paris was not to bad the scene where he jumps out of the fountain and shakes the water off, was excellent CGI.
The Underworld trilogy, where to start, the first had the worst looking werewolves I have ever seen, in Evolutions there was a few CGI werewolves which for me looked the best, the pratical werewolves looked like hand puppets with no free movement.
The rise of the Lycans, had alot of CGI, "surprized" which made it the best of all the Underworld movies.
Dog Soldiers, O man O man, the gore was cool, but the werewolves looked like people with masks on really not believable.
