Mercedes Thompson comes to comics

Going through Patricia Briggs hompage (http://www.patriciabriggs.com/index.shtml) I found this:

http://www.dabelbrothers.com/index.php? … 3b933db4b7

The Dabel brothers which brought us the Anita Blake comics, will turn out a prequel story to the Mercedes Thompson books by Patricia Briggs.
Can't wait to see how that will turn out.

BTW, if you haven't read any of her Mercedes Thompson novels yet you really missed out on something. smile

Re: Mercedes Thompson comes to comics

Very cool. The books are currently my second favorite were-related series.

"How lonely is the night without the howl of a wolf."
"Werewolves are BAD ASS." - Dean Winchester
Buckaroo Banzai - Highlander - Kolchak - Buffy - Doc Savage

Re: Mercedes Thompson comes to comics

The first issue is out, yay!
Some parts are a little off, the intro scene made we wonder if the artist has any sense for direction seeing how Mercy is all over the place there.
But I think once you got used to the style it's a promising start.

Re: Mercedes Thompson comes to comics

Patricia Briggs first Anna & Charles novel Cry Wolf is coming to comics, too, as a 8-issues adaption.
