Re: Internet links to werewolf legends and lore:

I started reading them in class but I had to go to my next one sad Very interesting though. Here's one I saw on the PACK forums about a werewolf sighting in Wales (fairly too if I remember right)

Re: Internet links to werewolf legends and lore:

That's cool!
Here's one I saw posted in the Pack forums: http://www.allenvarney.com/av_were.html It was posted there by a member named Bloodmoon_Star and I believe she is the creator of the site. It discusses the origin of werewolf legends and even games and movies. I thought it was pretty cool

Probably my favorite Native American story, begins on page 136: http://books.google.com/books?id=DtG1Zi … p;resnum=1

Re: Internet links to werewolf legends and lore:

Very interesting. Anything besides the concept that stands out as to why it is your favorite?

Re: Internet links to werewolf legends and lore:

I really like the message behind it, also, the conclusion provides a welcomed reversal from the typical happy moral story ending.

Re: Internet links to werewolf legends and lore:

That is very true. It seems like quite a few Native American tales don't follow the western tradition of concluding the tale with a happy ending. I almost think it makes it a bit more powerful in teaching the lesson.

Re: Internet links to werewolf legends and lore:

I agree... I also like the conflict that an unresolved story causes in the mind... it's almost like a cliffhanger.
