Have you heard Kidd Rock's new song?

On Kidd Rock's new album "Rock N Roll Jesus", he has a song titled "All Summer Long" which is a cross of Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London" and Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama."

Have you heard of it?

What do you think of it?

Here's a link for more information on it:

I mentioned this on the "Werewolves of London" thread in Werewolf Music.  The Kidd Rock music video is even on YouTube.  And not a were in sight!

Yeah, they play the same thing on the radio all the time, over and over and over.

You honestly can't hear the piano riff?  Sweet Home has the same chord progression, though, so I guess it'd be easy to get mixed.

While Skynyrd is all over the song, Zevon doesn't really make himself known outside of the few piano parts.  In the video, however, there is a brief shot of a record spinning on a turntable, and it is labelled "Werewolves of London".  I wish Kid would have tossed in at least one "Ah-Ooooo", though.

Re: Have you heard Kidd Rock's new song?

Me and some people heard that song come on the radio and one of them thought the station was actually playing "Werewolves of London" for the first couple of seconds. I think it's pretty clear.

Luckily I don't listen to the radio much so I'm not hating the song much tongue
