I pukes after watching Twilight though, so I hold no great hopes that this will be an awesome flick.

I will however most definitely see it, I was muy impressed.

I hate the twilight series personally. But the werewolf in the trailer, the head just looks unrealistic to me.

What I really don't like about the TF is the puff-a-like style... and it is exactly the same in all these kind of movies. Well, they avoid to dedicate resources on it, and "no one" would notice. Yes, you all are NOT their target on sales, sorry men. This is made for teenage vampire-lovers.

Can't wait though this is the year of the Werewolf we have New Moon and Wolf Man this fall/winter. I'm stoked

Okay just looked up some New Moon info, they have a pic of the wolves together ( in human form --- Jacob. (minus).

So I'm assuming the wolves will be fully CG. No transformations (like Thriller or something) no Wolfman look. I'm at least hoping for some claws and contacts on the dudes.

On the matter of werewolves and Twilight in general, I am at conflict. The desire to see a well-funded wolf movie is strong enough to make me watch this (but probably not at the theatres), but I don't care for the vampires at all. Vampires have seemed to permanently be lost to the world of romance writing now, unfortunately. I realize that immortality would drastically alter one's lifestyle, but I'm kind of sick of the aristocratic over-emotional vampire cliche.

I fear that werewolves may be in danger of being pushed down this road, as well. What's next? Romantic zombies?

I know that a werewolf, by definition, can be someone who can change into either a wolf, a wolfman, or both, but I tend to not think of people turning into wolves as werewolves. So, for me, Twilight has no werewolves at all.

Have to agree with the vampire stuff there. I found the ones in Twilight to be silly and overwrought.

Loved the intense smell reaction though when Edward first meets whatsherface. That was pure hilarity.

Have you guys seen the Comic Con footage? Interviews.? Well the clip is kinda cool. I'm kinda wishin I didn't read the book, now I won't be surprised. I hope I can sorta forget most of the details so I can enjoy the movie.
