*whistles* Here, boy!

Everyone knows how to kill and repulse a werewolf, but does anyone know how to lure one?

An expert werewolf hunter wouldn't ask this question, but I'm curious. Do you place meat out and hope that a werewolf emerges? Or do you tie a maiden up to a pole and wait for a werewolf to attack?

I've only read a few werewolf lore books and none of them talk or even mention about how to attract a werewolf. I assume they don't speak about it because its total suicide.

Any thoughts?

A big meat covered bone and the promise of a belly rub?

If you're talking about the traditional hollywood type angst-ridden werewolf, maybe offer the promise of a cure.

What about werewolf pheromones? and mating calls, that's usually the thing most creatures in this world respond to best. XD

I believe a way to do that is to use their own kind against each other. Its a horrible thought.. i know.

As for movies.. naked girls, fresh meat, mating, blood, sounds of death blah blah blah...

Well, going on tips from the animal kingdom and assuming my target is a male werewolf; I would use the pheromones of a female werewolf in heat.

Of course, this then begs the question, where the hell does someone get urine from a female werewolf, that's also in heat?

If you are familiar with W:tA setting, then you should knew that regular wolf b**** is enough (not to mention that dog b**** in heat was used IRL to hunt wolves)

Re: *whistles* Here, boy!

Personally  If I was going to  try to lure a ware wolf I would start by  studying its potential habitat.
Second is  I wouldn't  use meat, predatory creatures  prefer their  food to be freshly killed  unless they are driven to starvation.
The  best way I can think of is  a recored call  to try to get a reply.

Note: a word of advise if you are not wanting to get bitten malled..ect is to  have a tree stand and  be wearing a set of light armor that  covers any exposed  flesh.  Also it would be  wise to  keep a mealy and a ranged weapon handy.
(  Make sure said  close  combat weapon is high  quality, other wise you might as well brought a plastic  butter knife)

Re: *whistles* Here, boy!

Commin from me, a newblood wolf. When im in wolf form usually the smell of another wolf or dog would lure me somewhere, food and a belly rub still sound nice though tongue but yer, commin form a female, a male scent would attract some attention

Telling your boyfriend you're a wolf and he thinks you're crazy. Well, boy is he gunna get bitten ;D

Re: *whistles* Here, boy!

I'd say that the scent of a female (or male depending the gender of the wolf) would definitely work. You need to be mindful of the season though. If it's mating season we're bound to be more attracted to said scent but we're also more aggressive. Also be careful about wgere your doing this and be sure to have a buddy with you. Even if youre un a tree stand a wolf can climb up there to say "hello" to you with a bite and a claw fairly quickly. Course, I wouldn't mind a nice scratch behind the ears occasionally but that's the kind of cuddly and lovable fool I am. ^_^

My guess would be that once you figure it out, you can't tell anyone because you're dead. Sooo... Yeah.

Re: *whistles* Here, boy!

Why not just try to see a regular wolf, wouldn't that be just as cool? Maybe get to know some wolves and they can introduce you.
