Yeah, it started out pretty intense.

Re: "Bad Moon" the movie

I finally got to see this movie got it off amazon, it's a good movie!! I like the transformations but they kinda over did it with the slobbering of the werewolf...I like the fight between Thor and the werewolf at the end of the movie!!  That is one bad ass dog and werewolf!!

It`s still worth $9 bucks and if you are like me you just go to the good scenes in the movie...and skip the dumb stuff.

Bad

Have you ever seen dogs or wolves go at it?  It's amazing how much they can take and dish out when they are in survival mode.  German Shepards especially are very wolf-like around the neck.  All that loose skin comes in handy when something is trying to grab your throat.  I once saw a wolf get kicked in the chest by a buffalo.  It flew backwards, spun over, landed on it's back, got up, shook it off and ran back at the bison.  I loved the fight scene between the werewolf and the dog.  It is what they were going for in "I was a Teenage Werewolf", but never quite accomplished.

Re: "Bad Moon" the movie

I'm a big fan of this movie. Grabbed it one day not expecting much and was really pleasantly surprised. Very strong performances in my opinion, the werewolf was pretty cool, the transformation was interesting (one side at a time! that's gotta hurt). His 'giving' in to the change at the end was really something, then the dog talking out the werewolf was great. I've read the short story. smile

Re: "Bad Moon" the movie

If you liked the movie, pick up a copy of the original novel, Thor, by Wayne Smith.

I've seen it before. Not the best I've seen, but nowhere near the worst.

Has anyone seen Bad Moon? It is a movie about a werewolf. VERY interesting. I personally loved the movie.

The one with Michael Paré?
Starts great and then turns into a 'typical American family' movie?

Not actually a movie that appears on my to watch again list.

Hi Christine, yep, I've seen the movie and was totally surprised by how good it was. smile The acting was awesome, the werewolf was actually really quite good (though the transformation was pretty odd-ball) and I didn't mind the family dog rushing to the rescue smile I'm a softie at heart wink

I have a copy at home and it's pretty high up on my best werewolf movies list.

Re: "Bad Moon" the movie

I saw this movie a couple weeks or so ago, and thought it was awesome! big_smile
My only problem with it was part of the transformation scene when the wolf's face was 'bubbling'. :?
Other that that, after watching it on YouTube, I gotta now get it on DVD!
