There is sorrow enough in the natural way From men and women to fill our day;
And when we are certain of sorrow in store, Why do we always arrange for more?
Brothers and Sisters, I bid you beware Of giving your heart to a dog to tear.

Re: Exanimis Den

I took Latin for 3 years working on my fourth!!!

I come from a clan of Slayers and recently we've gotten a bad rep so we joined to reverse that!!  What makes you take the name lifeless? And a quick question for you. My fiance is a wolf. And it was only recentlybut  that he's started shifting. To him it's very painful, is it the same for you? He is quite thin, and my thinking is the lack of muscle is what is a major part of his problem.

On a lighter note, what is it you do for fun?

(sorry to bug, but you forgot the "e" smile )

Re: Exanimis Den

cool...(by the way you may have gatherd this already but my real name isnt Lupus...)i seem to have an inability to die also...its rather strange...the world might not be ready for your story but i am...i can undrestand the non violence of weres unless attaked because i am much the same...although if someone hurts my friends or family i WILL kill them...but on a lighter note i ended up on this forum because i was looking for information/someone to teach me...you seem to have been lucky in the fact that you had a were there when you needed one to teach you...where as i have nobody noticably like a were...and i also came here in search of others like me...i have never realy expected the full moon theory to be true...how would i go about finding someone to teach me??

Re: Exanimis Den

He eats like a little piggy!!!! He never puts on more than a pound or so! Which has me worried......

SO what is your story? The way you started out sounds similar to my 2nd cousins husband. We sort of found him one day in the woods. He spoke little english.

Patty Anne it is, my typing is substandard and anyone who reads this thread will have to come to an understanding of that fact as well as the fact that I can't spell sh*t.

I took on the name Exanimis because I have lived well past my time. The problem with immortality is that you live when everybody you ever loved, grows old and dies. Being a living being is not the same as having a life.

Your fiance's shifting is painful because that is what he expects. Just like young Were's expect to change when the moon is full. We have been taught that we only shift during full moons and that it is a painful, bone crunching experience. Those are mental blocks that only hinder us. To become a true Were, you must first forget everything you have ever learned about werewolves.

Most werewolves and werecats are thin in there Vere form. It's a trait from a time when our ancestors would go for months without food. I would be willing to bet that he eats constantly, or at least he eats a lot. Some animals have a stomach that can stretch several times it's size. This stretchable stomach allows them to go for long periods without eating. It's handy when prey is scarce.

Believe it or not, for fun I model things in a 3D program. I taught myself to use Blender and I make mods for the game, The Elder Scrolls IV oblivion. I have a desire to create and am always involved in art of one type or the other.

Re: Exanimis Den

I still have night mares about the first person I ever actually hunted. So I share that with you.
I suppose I said my last post because where I grew up, any child showing any wolf or non human traits (& typical signs of abuse) was taken in by my clan and given a real home. Or they were given a place to stay if they really didn't want to go home. I just find it hard to wrap my head around a mother going after a child like that.

Your story intrigues me. And I wish to know more!

Hello, and Im Hondros.
It's nice to meet you. That sounds awful, and I can relate, even if only just a tad bit, my father was abusive while I was growing up, all the way to about 14...
Anyways...
