Rambo 5 . . . with werewolves?

Well, why not? Everything's better with werewolves.

Re: Rambo 5 . . . with werewolves?

They didn't talk about werewolves anywhere, it is more like "insane super-soldiers", and from there you can imagine whatever you want. I like Rambo movies and Werewolf movies but getting them together would be a veeery bad idea.

Easy: Rambo franchise belongs to war-action movies. Werewolves to terror-thriller. You'll find complaints from fans of both sides. As a conclusion, there are going to be a smaller target audience. No, sooner or later, in the script you'll got to choose one genre or another, and won't get a wider range or people watching it. Things doesn't work that way, and it is something that the producers (the guys with the money) know very well.
Saying this, yes, I'll take a look on a rambo-werewolf movie myself smile

Hehehehe "You see, it is set in the Pacific Northwest"

Where of course, thanks to Twilight, we now know all werewolves come from. tongue

I've got to disagree, I don't see werewolves as having to always belong to the horror genre. They're just an element, but not a defining one - they could be in comedy, romance, whatever. IIt gets repetitive and restrictive for them to be horror alone. Obviously vampires have crossed successfully from pure horror to other genres.

And I'm not just saying that because I've written stuff for a werewolf romance and coming-of-age comedy wink

Well, depending on how large the budget is, who's directing, and the overall plot, it could be a good film. But that is a lot of things that would have to be just right.

Yeah, just can't wait to see those scenes in which Sly saves some girl that would have been killed if he'd show up a second later and then wrestles with the werewolf and actually wins smile

Re: Rambo 5 . . . with werewolves?

Actually, the story was more like THE THING, but they saw how ridiculous they were being and Stallone is now developing this as a separate, original project.  RAMBO V sends Rambo south of the border for a non-supernatural shootout.

My new werewolf novel THE FRENZY WAY will be published by Medallion Press in June, 2010, the same year that my new film SLIME CITY MASSACRE will be playing at film festivals.  Now available: JOHNNY GRUESOME, PERSONAL DEMONS and GREG LAMBERSON'S SLIME CITY GRINDHOUSE COLLECTION.  Coming October 2010: DESPERATE SOULS.  Visit me at www.slimeguy.com.

Wow... that was slightly terrifying.

I watched Rambo aaaaaaaaaaaages ago, and from what I remember, werewolves in it would just be weird... O.o
But I rather enjoy any lycan film, so I'd watch it.
