Just thought it was worth a mention.  While walking out to my car to leave work early this morning, I looked up and caught a glimpse of the moon at about its highest point in the sky.  Not full, but it was bright enough to cast a highlight on the foggy atmosphere in the shape of a halo directly beneath it.  I've never seen anything like that before, and wish I had my camera with me at the time.  It looked very unnatural.
