Jim Isaac's new movie "Skinwalkers" has begun casting, with Natassia Malthe and Shawn Roberts being named. It concerns a war between two rival groups of werewolves and a 13-year-old lycanthrope caught in the middle. One group embraces what they are, and the other group fights to keep it concealed. One group wants to kill the child, and the other is sworn to protect him.
Sounds interesting!

I've seen a clip from that movie somewhere - it looks interesting.

Hm...why the child is caught in the middle? Do he/she have something that both groups of werewolves want?

2006 will see the coming of a new werewolf film from Lions Gate Films entitled Skinwalkers. The plot is simple; A 12 year old boy and his mother are caught between two warring werewolf packs, each with their own motivations. So far it sounds pretty interesting but that's all there is for now. More info as it becomes available.
On a side note, this movie is in pre-production, here's a link to follow:

Oh, no, you did nothing wrong, it's just that I just moved your post over and closed the other forum topic because this forum was already in existence (so we already had a topic started for "Skinwalkers", and I like to keep everything together).

I swear if anyone ever says that word "Kewl" again, I'm gonna!.....
I hate that word. <_<
The movie looks cool.
Is it just me, or are there a lot of werewolf movies coming out lately?

There seems to be a lot of werewolf everything coming out lately, like books, movies, comics and merchandise. There seems to be a resurgence of werewolf related things now.

Think that you also had a help with that resurgence with this website The WEREWOLF Cafe, The Busboy?

Me thinks BlueEyesWolf just asked a rhetorical question. Of course, I'm also an arrogant, self centered douche, but I think my opinion is still valid.

I don't know where I was going with that. But I went there anyway.

I thought you were implying that the website, as well as the Busboy, definitely did have an influence on the resurgence of werewolf interest.

Hey, there was just a status update on the internet movie database on October 11th, and it says that this movie is filming! Jason Behr, who was "Chris Wolfe" (what a coincidence) in "Dawson's Creek" looks like he has a lead role in it. Here's the link to the internet movie database with the casting information: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0461703/
