Much agreed. It is too bad that the Werewolf game that was being produced with WhiteWolf's blessing was cancelled when the gaming studio was bought out.

On the bright side: Crowd Control Productions, the company behind the very successful MMO Eve Online, bought WhiteWolf a while back and the two are now working together on a World of Darkness MMO. If CCP can do for the World of Darkness what they have done for Internet Space Ships, expect the World of Darkness MMO to be fantastic.

I'm certain that werewolves will be playable in that game, but I can't find a source at the moment. Definitely something to keep an eye on.

The first werewolf PC game I ever played was Gabriel Knight III. It is really fantastic game. I think every body should play this game if they like to play game. I really enjoyed it.

At this moment, I'm working on some sketches for the "Lycan Rising" video game. Here's the site of the group that will be making it: http://www.riogroup.org . They're looking for some good, game experienced people to join the team, too. Of course, they mainly want people from this area (Rio Grande Valley of Texas).

I checked the page, it's just something telling people to vote for Obama.

Re: Werewolves in Computer Games and Video Games

In Inner Worlds you play as a female warrior that can shapeshift into a white wolf and in Wolfsbane the main character is attacked by a werewolf and must find a way to get rid of the curse before midnight to avoid his transformation. I played both on DOSBox.

Re: Werewolves in Computer Games and Video Games

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an insanely amazing game. And I went crazy when I saw that they had werewolves in the guide big_smile Didn't read specifics because I don't actually want to spoil the game - I was just looking for fighting tips - but that made me very very happy big_smile Haven't met any yet, and I'm not going to seek them out. Yet. big_smile

Grrr, if it wasn't for the "computer and video games" part, I would've said Dungeons and Dragons and the Space Wolves chapter of the Space Marines in Warhammer 40k. Curses! *shakes fist*
