History channel, March 24th. The 4th season finale and last episode of MonsterQuest will examine the infamous Gable film.
This is short sequence shot on 8mm film, allegedly in the 70's, which shows a mysterious dark creature in the woods rise up on all fours, apparently shift from a gorilla-like to a wolf-like shape, and charge the person holding the camera. There is a 3-frame long flash of fangs as the camera is dropped. Is this a werewolf?
General consensus is this is a hoax, a man in a costume, even cryptozoologists who seem to be ready to believe in anything think it's fake, so how will MQ build a whole episode out of it? It's kind of a sad end to a show that started with promise but very quickly became the cryptozoo equivalent of Ghost Hunters - a bunch of easily spooked guys running around in the woods and using a lot of expensive equipment to discover exactly nothing.

That show just pretty much turned into another show like Lost Tapes.
