haha, well that is his master right? I'm assuming from the wererat storyline in the Guilty Pleasures comci and book. I'm not sure if Richard's called any real wolves. I know Jean Claude has.

There's master/submissive, and then there's master/ottoman. Gee, can you tell I don't have much respect for the weak-willed?
Fuzzball what's an Ottoman? Ah man, I just finished Cerulean Sins and I think the werewolves are four legged. So basically giant sized wolves like Twilight? Wait maybe they have muscles. I'll have to look at that pic again.

never mind. The art shows them as being bi-pedal or four legged, so more like Underworld and I think Laurell got to decide on the pics so... nevermind.

I still don't know what an Ottoman is though

yeah part 5 of 5 comes out next Friday I think (17th) THEN WE GET THE WEREWOLF IN MARCH. unless theyr'e taking a breather. I"m at least glad that Brett Booth is doing the covers again, wish he'd do the inside artwork. It's sooooo cartoony. For an adult comic it should look that way not like a cartoon look for kids. The second artist is better though.

Well I was right. Bummer though, Circus of the Damned, the third novel transitioned into a comic series won't be released until May 5th. But great news, here is the cover. http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/comics/350
Okay I could only recognize 4 things. Anita, Jean Claude, A WEREWOLF (though in shadow ), and the little boy vampire. I don't know who else is on this cover. Does anyone know the other folk? Is that Richard by Jean Claude or that ancient ancient vampire? Then there's another guy on the cover. No clue
TV Series/TVMovie/ you know what I mean Updated news
On the movie front, it still seems to be in the works. They seem to be shopping around to different people now that the project's dropped from IFC or whoever. They're adapting the book into script format. Not sure if that's new news or not. Maybe we'll find other attachments by the summer.

Hey Fuzzball, is there anything extra in the issues (Like pictures not from the actual story? Or a news page or anything?)

oh. Well I thought I'd ask. I see Brett Booth (cover artist) had done drawings in color of Richard, the werewolf already and I know his appearance iwasn't supposed to happen until May for "Circus of the DAmned" part 3 storyline. I mean i have his sketchbook thing but it's all black and white.

FIVE MORE DAYS UNTIL THE RELEASE OF THE COMIC BOOK "Circus of the Damned!!!!" Not sure if we'll see a werewolf in issue 1 or issue 2.
I can't wait!

It comes out on Monday? That's odd. Usually the release dates are Wednesdays.
that's what it says for the pre-order.

Fuzzball I take it you realized my error the comic comes out on the 20th.
Also there might be a yellowlight for the movie again but it seems like the consensus is it won't happen unless Laurell stays awayyyyyy from the set. I'm with Laurell, Harry Potter and Twilight stuck almost 100% to the book. I can also see how True Blood enhanced the book a lot more than the books in some ways (in some ways not).

Has anyone gotten this? I have to order mine online since Borders stopped carrying this. Did Brett do only one cover this time around or are there other covers? Someone let me know please. Thanks

I got it, just go get it from the comic shop. Nah it's the same cover. I think what happened before is that it got a lot of publicity so they sold out getting new covers. I think the new artists pissed a lot of fans off. Have you seen the cover for issue 3? Richard's on the cover and well now I'm on EVERYONE'S SIDE WHO SAYS TO TAKE AWAY LAURELL'S POWER. WTF Richard, the werewolf is NAKED under the sheets. that's the Friggin' cover. Come on now, that was the WRONG COVER to have. Most comic fans are GUYS. They're not gonna buy that because of the cover. Girl's still don't go to comic shops that much. 1 in 50 maybe. Dumb move and we might not get that movie/movies/series after all b/c of dumb business moves like this.
Issue #2 cover is cool though.

i've never seen this one before
and this one is the cover of an Anita Blake calender which i found on devianart

The first is a Greg Horn variant cover, I always liked his version of Anita much better than the comic version.
I mean I get that she's supposed to be pale, but silver dipped? She looks like a freaking vampire.
