MOAR ANGST.
Ah I love Jacob. He is my favourite of the vampires.

Now i do enjoy the films and books as guilty pleasures, i think this installment will be the best due to a talented filmmaker who had an amazing track of original horror movies including the adaptation of 30 Days of Night. I hear this will be rated R here in the US as it will cater more to the males due to sexy half-nude vampire females, gory violence, action, war, suspense and little love story which should please the guys. If not an R-rated as it will still have gore and half-naked vampire females then maybe an Unrated Director's Cut.
But any guys think Rosalie and Victoria are smokin' hot? any straight secret Twilight fan has to admit about them. This could even recieve the best reviews and might be the highest grossing of the series due to those things.

Firstly... ShadyHowl... Jacob Black is NOT a vampire... He's a werewolf.
Secondly, Eclipse does not have half-naked vampiresses. I don't know what sources you've been looking at, but the film will follow be PG or possibly PG-13 at the most. If you've read the books, it is largely made for a woman's fantasy, and thus none of the female characters are EVER scantly cladded. Eclipse, out of all the saga, as the most action with a vampires vs a vampire-werewolf team up at the end, of which might push the rating to PG-13. Early viewings of the film state that it already looks better than New Moon, and people should be very pleased with the werewolves of which look much better than the last films.

I remember Jacob having a groan-worthy line in the trailer.
I know because I was groaning.
Then again, the first one had that whole 'heroin' line, so yeah. Not surprised.

Now this will make guys not ashamed to see a Twilight movie as it has what they want, ACTION and more of Victoria, afterall guys do desire Victoria and Rosaline as they are some of the hottest femme vampires in recent memory.
But i do hear rumors of an R-rating, if not then a PG-13 theatrical release with an unrated director's cut with more gore.

I can guarantee that it won't be rated R nor will have any Unrated version. It is in the contract with Stephenie Meyer and Co. The author wrote a PG to PG-13 (at most) novel and Summit has a signed contract to keep the movies along those lines. So any rumors about an R-rating are at this time... false.

Firstly, I know, it was a statement designed to provoke and enrage.
Secondly, JACOB IS A VAMPIRE; I SAW HIS BAT WINGS.
That is all.

Wow is this the only thing that's werewolf related and coming out this month all the way through the summer? Just curious.

Not exactly ("13 hrs" might be released this summer) but it is true that, in some humoristic way, this is related to a "Peter and the wolf" story of menacing werewolf movies that finally were never released even though we were expecting them so much. And I include some tv series here... It's sad, isn't it?
About Eclipse, nothing to say about a vampire movie with giant wolfy puppies.

Opening day for this movie is June 30, 2010.

Well, I used to work as a dog groomer, and at a kennel . . . from that angle, you can usually see some masculine dangly bits. Not like I was specifically LOOKING, of course

Man, new clip. Definitely hoping the werewolves do some damage. I hope it's a long fight at least, that'll really be the only reason I'm seeing this.

Now the Volturi don't sparkle because they are awesome and a different species than Edward's diamond race plus Volturi have awesome powers like Magnus Lee.

I heard that they even added in some clips that were not from the book. Saw a few and I have to say I was disappointed with how it turned out. I think it was a doomed saga from the first movie. The books were interesting but it has it's dull moments...like no actual fighting just talking and more talking

Say Silverfang, do you think Rosalie and Victoria with Alice are hotties? and Twilight film saga weren't the only movies to feature "different" vampires, you should rent these movies:
"The Hunger".
"Lifeforce".
"Near Dark".
"Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter".
"Def By Temptation".
"Cronos".
"Habit".
"Martin (1977)".
"Rabid".
"The Omega Man".
" I Am Legend".
"Last Man on Earth (1964)".
"The Keep". (Sadly it's not on DVD yet but on video and youtube)
"Sleepwalkers".
All deal with vampires who are different than the vampire lore as some are aliens who are ancestors to vampires, some that suck out souls with no fangs and don't suck blood, some that suck blood but have regular human teeth that are sharp as razor blades, some that can walk in the daylight, some created by biological experimentation and more.

I've seen some of those and they are interesting but as for the characters you mentioned.....maybe if they weren't going drain me dry they might be

Afterall twilight 1 & 2 are guilty pleasures you know and those chicks are the reason why guys would secretly see them, even Ashely Green made Maxim magazine and these chicks can sparkle in the sunlight in the nude for us men to put on a showgirl-like show for us in the daylight.
Which movies you have seen on the list?
And have you ever seen Cat People (1982)? features werecreatures too but panthers who transform when angered, sexually excited, whenever they feel and after sex but has to kill something to be back human. This movie influenced Stephanie Meyers for the Twilight werewolves since they are similar to the were-creatures in Cat People who are of similar nature of becoming actual beasts but has to kill animals to be human again instead of harming people but do kill vampires who aren't of the Cullens. In fact Cat People (1982 remake) is one of Stephanie Meyer's favorite movies of all time and used that as an inspiration for the Twilight werewolves even with Jacob being similar to Paul from CP who is Malcom Mcdowell's character who also walks shirtless like Jacob, only good thing is that the Wolf Pack are incestious like the Cat People were-creatures from both Cat People 1982 and Sleepwalkers.
