Fine.

1.) I chose North simply because it was the first thing that popped in my head.
Nothing more, nothing less.

2.) I said "If I can get across it, I will" because...well, if I can get across it, I will. Seems a lot quicker, don't ya think? Like...if it's a stream or something and I need to get across 'em, if I can just wade through, then I'll do it. Now, if it's a LAKE, obviously there is no other option but to walk around!

3.) I chose elk because it's large enough to really feed you, but at the same time, isn't as extraordinarily big as a buffalo (though if I could get one of those, I'd opt for that, hahahaha). Now, obviously, if I have to survive on squirrels, I will. Arctic wolves have been known to survive on things such as mice.
