I'll have to check out the review later, but I remember hearing and seeing some snapshots about this show a year ago. Looked cool, but heard earlier it may not be. WELL, guess should read the review and see whats changed *goes to read*

Well that's interest. Guess I never looked at the drawings from the show carefully the last time I checked. I could've sworn this was an anime. Either way, the concept and snapshots look pretty cool. Hope it gets back on production.
And I how I finally realized this was an American show instead of an anime was when I realized Rino Romano and Phil LaMarr (voice actors for various animated shows other than anime) were to do the main characters/werewolves voices.

Series is being sold as a 80-minute TV special.

I hate it when good projects never get picked up.

Guardians of Luna is moving into production at a slow pace but it's still moving along, since the journal has just been updated, i kinda like the new Carson look, probably because i'm an anime fan:)

There are about five or six posts of this topic. Okay so Comic Con is this weekend and I thought I heard that Guardians of Luna comes out next fall? They've shown pictures and looks like two Twilight cast will do the voices. The blue werewolf looks cool I must say and so does the female brown one.

As the producer is a dear friend of mine, I can safely say, that Cybergraphix is on schedule to have the animated DVD movie released by fall of 2011... A lot of nice things are coming along the way, and we'll keep you posted as more news comes my way. Thus far Kellen Lutz (Emmett Cullen) and Booboo Stewart (Seth Cullen) have been added to the cast, along with John Noble (Fringe/ LotR: Return of the King)...
As for the article above... a lot has changed since then, and while a bit of the info still holds true, you should expect to see some changes...
If you want to keep up with all the recent news, you will have better luck following Luna via, Facebook...

Looking at the poster and reading all the material I can about this project I have the horrible feeling that this cartoon will embody everything I hate about the Deviant art/Furaffinity generation.
I'll give the DVD movie a chance, but had better prove me wrong.

I don't think you're gonna have to worry.

Well, it'll going to be some "furry superheroes" lookalike. There are many people who love such kind of artwork, and I am sure that it will attract more interest out of the typical werewolf-fan circles.
I wish them all the luck for the project... I have the same problem like you, in my case I prefer the werewolf-classical-horror-monster.

Well that all depends on what you consider classical... even in the old lore there were tales of heroic werewolves... 12 Century French lais were cholked full of them, such as Bisclavret, Melion, Gorlagon, Guilluame de Palerna... Going back further you have the Werewolves of Ossary... While the horror architype werewolf has always been with us, so has the noble protector/hero werewolf... It's just a matter of POV...

It would be nice to have a cartoon with the high quality storytelling of Batman TAS or Gargoyles again. I remain hopeful.
