I hate you for everything you've put me through
I hate you for all that you claim you will do
I hated you then and I still hate you now
That pain that burned through me, I didn't allow
But nothing fulfilled that hole in my heart
You quickly cut through it, your words just a dart
It cut through my shield, and imprinted your name
Always remember the heat of the game
It's not about winning, but losing the fight
For you are my only love at first sight
This one is relitively old... Another heartbreak I suppose.

Very nice. Every time I read what you write i'm inspired:
I have said I would rather not feel a broken heart. But now I understand that without a broken heart, I can't tell the difference between love and attraction. Because what does love feel like to someone who has never had a broken heart... ? Without heartbreak, love loses it's partner in crime. It's brother in arms. All that's left then is love's evil twin. Hate...
So I'll take the heartbreak, so that when the day comes, I might sympathize with the girl I am finally able to relate to. So that I can distinguish between love and infatuation...And prevent another casualty of casual love.
