The creators of this site / forum can not create a group that can somehow urge the creators of the remake of American Werewolf in London to make a new female version?

Hehehe. This is "just" a forum... I mean, they won't lobby the hollywood studios in order to get what they want. And not everyone would subscribe that, because many people may have other preferences. I am the first to appreciate a "female" remake of the movie, but people against it can tell you that it WAS done before... the awful "Paris" version. Yes, there was CGI, terrible script, bad acting and lame ape-wolves creatures, but you are not guaranteed better results on a second try... the normal thing is indeed WORSE results than before xD.

I thought the script was great, the acting was great (never a point where I wasn't involved in the story). Yeah the wolves could've looked more wolfish. I think just having taller ears would have made a HUGE difference.
I just hope they don't remake the same movie scene from scene. Add something different.

Guys, let's face it. Maybe I have an obsession, but if this is a forum where we talk about werewolves and I I bring a topic on it, that little is being addressed, as I see, because I need to pass for a fool obsessed? It does not seem correct. Peace, brothers.
With regard to the following AAWIL does not mean that if it is ugly, or the director's second came evil, female werewolves there are few. Anyway, thanks.
If I'm obsessed, I think we're all in the same boat then.

And then, we will never forget ...

Um. There's really no need to repost your previous posts where you posted a followup to your own post, in a different thread. We got it, I think.
I'm with WerewolfH about not remaking AWIL. Please not an exact copy of the plot with a lady instead of David (... Davidia? *snortgiggle* ). I am however not with him about American Werewolf in Paris. Holy crap that was a pile of especially putrescent excrement.

Davidia ????
But who has spoken in these terms? Know ye not think of anything outside of your little thought patterns, right? Okay I understand you are made of wood. Hello woody.
I agree with the fact that there is no need to make a remake, but I say, if you really have to do it ...
This time give way to a female protagonist, is not it?
Who said that these gently caressing werewolves must always be men??
Absolutely not. We can not go on like this.
P.S.

I'd have to go with the consesus. AAWIL is a pure classic and it still holds up remarkably well twenty years later.
If you're keen on something with female leads, then look no further than GINGER SNAPS. I frikking love that movie.

*snicker* You are fascinating.
And Ginger Snaps was very well done #2 & #3, not so much, but still interesting.

Heh? First off remaking that movie will be fail. Remaking it with a woman would be even more fail.
Wanna know why?
Naked man running around London = Funny
Naked woman running around London = Not funny, just distracting
Plus Hollywood would screw it up, they always screw it up, esp. if it involves a woman.
Unnecessary to remake it, unnecessary to remake it with a woman. Besides, men are far more interesting to watch and that transformation scene in the original? Oh man did that look so painful~ It wouldn't thrill me one bit if it were a woman.

Yes, that's a brief summary of what Hollywood producers consider when they are trying to create a werewolf movie. So they keep on failing continuously.
I'd like to watch a similar story to AAWIL, with female characters, but the trick is avoiding the use of the word "remake", just to keep the hardcore horror movie fans at bay, and with open mind. Yes, you can lose the attention of some specialised media (let's say, press and internet), but it would look and sound "new", what is a key word when you have to sell something.

Anyway I only like the female werewolves. It seems more interesting and more in line with the fact that a woman is hiding a beast. As in every human being.
I'm sorry, but I'm Straight
I am a bit like her boyfriend in Blood and Chocolate.

The age of she werewolf is about to begin. The rescue is about to begin. The wolf women are tired of staying home and wash the dishes, they also want their own space. And it is right!
