Recently I've been feeling like I'm not a wolf, but an otter.
My personality is much closer and I feel a stronger connection to the otter. I act very much like an otter and I have been squeaking lately
But, I still feel a fading connection with the wolf. Do you think I could be both? I feel close to the wolf, but closer to the otter.
An opinion is appreciated
Anyone know of any otter therians ?

I've heard of cameo-shifting which involve multiple theriotypes, maybe that's it.

Lots of therians here advocate for multiple theriotypes. I for one don't really agree with them, but I accept that some personalities can be so complex as to not be accounted for by one animal.
I also think it's quite common for therians to think they are wolves to begin with and to become more clear on their true theriotype the further they come into it and the more they accept themselves. At least you have been honest with yourself.

thanks for the opinions, and is that why there are so many wolves around here ?

I think the reason why there are so many wolves around here is twofold:
1. Wolves are the animals who are closest to humans socially, therefore in the case of 'true' therians, its more likely that a therian will resonate with a wolf than, potentially any animal. Personally, I love big cats. I love lions, tigers, cheetahs, etc and I would rather watch those than wolves. But they just don't resonate with me; they're so much more independent and resourceful. They're almost like the theriotype I unwittingly aspire to. But the wolf is more the actual me.
2. In the case of non-therians, they may wish to be 'wolves' since wolves are the 'cool' animal to be right now. Seriously, google the word 'wolfaboo.' There have been some very retarded, naive opinions expressed about wolves in the trail of this weird wolf worship - e.g. 'wolves are the nicest creatures on earth' 'a wolf can beat a tiger in a fight'. etc. etc. They don't embrace some of the nastier realities of wolves and kind of deify them.
Of course, whatever animal you think you are must resonate. That you've decided upon a non-traditional animal suggests to me that you are probably not a poser. Good job.
