no offence taken! i already have the word werewolf written across my arm.. a cartoon werewolf i modified on my back.. a werewolf skull on my arm.. a kids drawing of a werewolf also on my arm... a hidden werewolf in a scene of a graveyard on my other arm.. and a werewolf off a tv show on my stomach.. my latest tattoo is my first film one! which is the american werewolf in london ..will try post a picture..

so yeah i have got lots of original art work already n felt its about time i payed tribute to the films that got me into it!

ive also had a piece on my lower leg that says 'monsters' and has me as a zombie in the middle. the rest has been a blank canvers for years... i intend to have a whole gang (hopefully atleast 10) werewolf behind zombie me.. that my next adventure after the next movie one..lol!

I would be a little unsure whether I'd want it later on in life, but I HIGHLY doubt it. I've pretty much always had a fascination with monsters and I doubt that'll end anytime soon. I want a werewolf that I'm going to draw, with a portrait of a wolf incorporated. Bit I'm going to go to the best animal portrait tattooist. I don't care what I'll have to spend.

yeah definatley the best way! you shouldnt worry about the price.. so many people come into our shop n get something they didnt quite want coz they didnt want to spend so much money that they go smaller or something different.
tattoos are gona be there for ever so whatever money spent is well worth it at the end of the day.
your idea sounds good.. your have to post up a picture of your drawing!

I found this topic a while ago and although I know it's old, I just wanted to say hell yes on that American Werewolf tattoo. I haven't seen anyone with that same image and it's incredibly well-done. The Jack Nicholson from Wolf tattoo is also great. It's nice to see tattoos from less famous movies sometimes, especially a film as entertaining as that one.

I just got an American Werewolf tattoo today. I've known that I wanted to get one for a while but couldn't decide on the imagery. I have seen a lot of people with the half-transformed iconic werewolf image on the old movie case, but I guess I wanted to go for something a little more obscure. Then about a year ago I stumbled across this delightful and ever-so-happy Japanese poster for the film and fell in love.



I modified the illustration from the top right corner of the poster myself and ended up with this:





I just went through a pretty rough time in life and this image has always made me happy, even when I felt like the little boy in the zoo that got his balloons stolen.

Wow...those are amazing....

I got over 80tattoos on my body and 90% of them are wolves or wolf related...I even have paw prints on my face and ears....

But what about a simple one...like on the palm of my right hand...I have 5dots....

But I'm working on the design for the top of my right hand right now...

I should take pics of my tatts to show them...maybe you can get some ideas from them
