The Line

She was running, panting, bleeding, and they were behind her. They had their guns and fire, but she had the world on her side - nature to protect her. Her infant was safe, hidden among humans until it was time, and she was leading them away. They could never kill the wolf, it was to resilient to die.
     "There she is!!" "Get her!"
They were screaming, putting on a burst of speed, and she was weakening - losing too much blood from the wound she had sustained earlier, her running had ripped it open and her wolf couldn't heal it. She was paniced, going to die. She closed her eyes and stopped. They all halted, not to far behind her. She smelled their fear and hate, they thought she had killed the preacher they brought to kill her but she had not. Her father, Brodrick, had done that to protect them all.
"I will not let you kill the wolves," she yelled, howled, and turned to a wolf for the last time. She ran into the forest, never to be seen again. Sorrow had eaten her heart, so she retreated to where it could no longer hurt.
     Into the wolf.

If you take a copy of the Christian bible and put it in the wind and rain it will disintegrate,
our bible IS the wind and rain.
