Everyones therianthropy is different, so don't take what you find on the internet as if its set in stone. Therianthropy is a mental/spiritual (depending on the person) type of thing.
any one could trip over something else, but it takes skill to trip over your own feet.

Wolf kin sounds similar to wolf therian to me.
Edit: Wolf kin are considered otherkin, are they? Then they're almost or pretty much the same. Welcome.

I think the general rule is that otherkin covers mythical creatures, and therian covers animals that can be proven to exist/are not extinct. from what I understand, therianthropy is technically a subtype of otherkin. Though I may be wrong.

Nah, it all depends on what side you take in a debate about community labels. There is a new thread by WerewolfLeaAnn obout Otherkins, so i suggest moving all discusion about this topics there. i notice that noone post anything there, so i probably start, when i find some free time
But in short > in otherkin community all grups are some kind of -kin. So therian is usually called animal-kin (or in that case a wolf-kin)
btw > Cyber wolf uk is not new, he never claim to be wolf kin and he dig a dead thread (or necropost if you prefer that term). He just ask "Tell me if i am therian//something similiar or not?"
