Not much more than a few glimpses
eh not that interested yet, but with as little as they showed maybe they're just holding off on showing what they got for now. I'll keep an open mind

looks promising can't wait to see it

Looks like theres gonna be some decent werewolf action scenes and alot of lame-ass Twilight imitation scenes. It's obviously, a Twilight-version of the Howling.

I'm looking forward to this one as well. The werewolf struggling to control type story-lines are always interesting.

Didn't the werewolves in The Howling have sentient will but became evil by choice?

I learned not to judge based on trailers. (Green Lantern and Transformers I apologize). But movies are losing money totally to lame trailers. This was Blood and Chocolate meets American Werewolf in Paris with some return of Super Shredder in TMNT 2 Secret of the Ooze, am I right...
still gonna see it though but this is looking like it's going to DVD

Yeah but the premise of this movie is that he is trying to be the lone good werewolf.

EVIL is always much more interesting. We don't want to watch furry superheroes... or do we?

Here's the face shot from 1:44
Edit: Which looks very much like the American Werewolf in London transformation shot...
Only much more unnecessarily wrinkly.

Evil is always a good excuse to murder assholes while ignoring the law. I usually favor neutral monsters that do good and evil depending on their mood.

Yep, it's just a point of view. I've always been attracted by the dichotomy between good human/evil werewolf that happens in the classic movies, that's all.

I'm not looking forward to another Howling movie with unbridled enthusiasm. Sure, the original was one of the greatest werewolf movies ever, introducing a surprising new look for the monsters and thought-provoking concepts such as rehab for lycanthropes. But the series dipped in quality more precipitously than any franchise in Hollywood history, far faster and deeper than Planet of the Apes. The one with Sybil Danning was just plain embarassing and by the time they came out with marsupial werewolves Down Under, my attitude was "check please." The movie image is too blurry to evaluate. May just look cool because your mind is filling in the blanks.

Anchor Bay Entertainment will bring The Howling Reborn, a relaunch of the werewolf franchise, to DVD and Blu-Ray on October 18.
On the eve of his high school graduation, unremarkable Will Kidman finally bonds with the girl he has long yearned for, reclusive Eliana Wynter. But he also discovers a dark secret from his past... that he is about to become a werewolf. Now, in an effort to fight destiny and save their love as well as their lives, they must battle not only Will's growing blood lust but an army of fearsome beasts bent on killing them...and then, us all.

There's a different trailer for the movie up on youtube. Most of the footage is the same, but there are some new, but quick shots of the werewolves. 2 things I've noticed: the 'minion' wolves all look different, and the 'alpha' wolves have tails.

Good catch NightSlash. I also noticed a bit from a transformation--looks like a CGI morph. Hopefully they'll use some prosthetics elsewhere though.

Saw the movie. It was okay. Nothing great but better than Cursed or Blood and Chocolate. Got some caps of the wolves, which wasn't easy given the horrible shaky-cam during the climax.

Huh, they look a lot like the ones from Underworld, what with the squarish muzzles and all that oily exposed skin.

I think they should actually try to actually talk to biologists and design one around what a werewolf would actually look like. Half the time it's just a rather blocky head and elongated limbs and not much else. I would think the fur would be more smooth since wolves generally don't have the raggedy/curled fur you see in many movies. Course, I'm no biologist so I can't really atone for any of this. Oh well, one can only speculate, eh?

Huh. Not too bad. Looks like they went for the 'dead eye' effect ala that guy from that... ... show. *snicker* I've totally blanked on the name damnit.
