I step outside, my fingers tracing the wall
coming off black with soot.
I clutch my jacket close againts the howling wind
blowing over the blackened plains that was once a forest.
suddenly the wind picks up, and shrieks thru the fallen branches.
I drop to earth and weep, realizing that it is mother nature,
screaming for the loss of her fallen children.
screaming, as the world dies.

more poetry or free form or whatever!!!!
this poem is called collide. i really didnt have anyone in mind for this, i just felt romantic.
I sit at the precipice of reality, gazing to the oceans of possibility
and then i hear you
my fear leaves me, in my mind a thought forms
and then i see you
you take my breath away, and that thought turns into hope
and then i touch you
our lips meet, and we fall into the waters of life
at last, i love you
and i know that what we have is unmeasurable, and unbreakable.
