The last sighting....

She walked, paws barely making a sound, through the trees regarding those that looked at her. Her fur, a deep black, glistened in the moonlight that broke through the canopy above. In one moment, she stood before them and her voice rang out to all those near, "We are one. We begin anew. Starting over from the wickedness of the past. I ask of you, go forth and live in the world; hidden from humans and gods alike. It is up to us to continue our lines of our families. Of our blood. So, leave as one, and live as many. We are the next generation." Pride filled those listening and they rose their noses to the sky and sang. Humans within hearing distance looked up at the stars as an unknown sadness filled their hearts. What had  they done???

Re: The last sighting....

Need I bit more meat to the story before we can really make any judgements or giving any advice on your writing.

We are the dead ones, we are the lost cause,
we are the bend before the break, our steps seal our fate
because this city, this city is haunted by ghostsfrom broken homes
because this city, this city is haunted and there's no hope left for these souls~ alexisonfire
