World of Darkness MMO

Looks like a new MMO is on the way, this one involving White Wolf's World of Darkness games like Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Vampire: The Masquerade and the rest....

Re: World of Darkness MMO

I actually just starting looking into World of Darkness.  It will be interesting to see how they portray it in a virtual world, but I probably won't play it.  I'm more into the creativity of Paper and Pencil when it comes to RPGs...

Re: World of Darkness MMO

If you get into World of Darkness, for god's sake go for the classic versions. In new WoD some mechanics may have been cleaned up a bit, but the worlds and materials for the games have been mangled like tiny bunny rabbits at lunchtime.

4shared.com has basically all the books you need on any of White Wolf's games.

Forever and ever, until they pull off their pride-shirts and admit crashing the oWoD was a colossal goof- mainly because Werewolf: the Apocalypse was the only first-run WoD game with fans and players who actually gave a damn about the world it was in. Hrrrf. Don't mind me, I'm used to rich kids playing Masquerade and pretending to be vampires and crapping on 'geek RPGs' like most of the ones I play.

Had a look at the Werewolf: the Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Kickstarter (been live and printed for a while now) gamebook at all? I'm partly convinced that picking up where 2003 left off- not to mention giving the Garou a real chance at fixing the Wyrm- might actually point me back in White Wolf/Onyx Path's direction. But partly only.
