Yeahhhhhhh, OKAY SO I'm watching my favorite show, "Face Off," and they show a preview clip of a new show called "Monster Man" (I think or Monster Mania?). So it seems like it is like "Face Off", but the focus will be on monsters and FINALLLLYYYYYYYY someone did a cool werewolf that looks like a werewolf and not a giant cat (Underworl) or something different.
Did anyone else see this? I'm getting chills!

There's a monster making show already on... um... the science channel? Maybe? It's fascinating and the stuff they were putting out impressed me more than the props I saw in that preview. Yay to werewolves though!

Do you mean "Monster Makers"? It's on the Travel channel.

Yeah I think that's it! When's that on? I haven't gotten to watch tv b/c of classes. That wolf looked cool. I want a mask like that.

Lost Girl has werewolves, one is even a primary character.

Yeaaah, kinda interested in that - is he actually called a werewolf though? Or some kind of fae equivalent?

I go by the dictionary definition of werewolf, or a human-wolf shapeshifter.

It's called, "Monster Man." It premieres March 14 on Syfy channel. I'm assuming it's a werewolf. Although it could be a Rat Man. It's towards the end of the second episode of Face Off if you watch it on Demand. Right before the models get into the water I think.

Yep, this comes on Wednesday!!!!!! I've got practice, but hopefully I'll get back in time and finish my homework so I can watch it. It comes on right after "Face Off"

I watched the first one, and it was awesome! There's the usual drama TV stuff with people arguing and stressing (although in this case the stressing is justified when the film they're working on changes the deadline from "two weeks from now" to "two days from now") but there's also plenty of great footage of them actually building the monsters. Practical effects, I love them!
According to one of my friends, that's the werewolf from Hallow Pointe. Looks like a great classic-style werewolf suit. They also do research field trips and it looks like Cleve lets himself get gnawed on by attack dogs, that ought to be hilarious.

Grabbed a few relevant screen shots from next week's episode.

Cool!!!!! What movie will this be from?

They didn't say in the preview but PenningtonBeast said it's from Hallow Pointe.

I don't mean to offend anyone but that werewolf look likes a lousy animatronic werewolf dummy for a cheap house of horror.
Offline
Kinda with you there. He's a bit cartoony.
Offline
He just doesn't have fur yet, its a work in progress. It is a little comical at the moment.
Offline
Oh, the furred version is still a bit cartoony. Those teeth and the muzzle particularly.
Like the claws alot though.

aone know about the movie, Hallow Pointe? I liked the footage, so it looks like slick camera zoooms which can help the movie. I didn't like that big obvious light in the background that the girl was running away from. that looked a tad amateurish. Unless it's a light left on a table by the girl or something...
I thought the werewolf looked cool. I agreed with the director that it should have been non gray/g. Sorry that just makes them look like older werewolves. Perhaps if the face was a gray skin color that'd change it to a gray wolf instead of an older one?

Hey what happened to the movie that was on this show? What happened to this show???
